By the time I met up with Aran for my first session with him I had been in a pretty bad state for some time. My stiffness, immobility and discomfort had been getting worse for some time. What had started as a minor stiffness and discomfort had now escalated to something that felt as though my neck, shoulders and back had become fused together and felt like solid wood. Such was the stiffness that I was unable to turn my head independently of the top half of my body. This had become a particular problem when I was driving because in order to check before turning left or right I had to adjust and turn my whole body in my seat to be able to see clearly and safely.

I had, of course, sought help from my doctor who administered various medicines and muscle relaxants. Unfortunately, these only had the effect of relaxing my bowel muscles and did little to ease my overall problem.

In addition to driving, getting comfortable enough to sleep had become a problem. No matter how hard I tried to settle the wooden stiffness and discomfort, particularly in my neck and shoulders, prevented me from finding any comfort and consequently impacted on the amount and quality of my sleep.

It was at this point I started to consider the us of physios and massage. Prior to this I had been reluctant to such services because of the costs involved and I was somewhat sceptical of any benefits they might bring. Fortunately and thankfully since being treated by Aaron my doubts and scepticism have Ben proved completely wrong. Thanks to Aaron I am now so much more better with ease, freedom and flexibility of movement returning I thought I had l lost forever.

Aran’s deep and powerful massage and stretching has been a revelation for me. By applying it mainly to my back, shoulders and neck he eventually brought me to a state where I can now just look left or right, moving my head completely independently of my shoulders and body. My back, shoulders and neck feel relaxed and normal. I can now walk, sit, talk etc without constantly being aware of a solid stiffness in my back, shoulders and neck. And now, the bliss of being able to put my head on my pillow and feel its comfort and the peace and joy of being able to sleep properly once again.
